My sessions are ideally suited for beginners, or those at intermediate level, who feel they need additional guidance, direction, structure, and technique. 

Lessons are underpinned by the Trinity Rock and Pop grade books and/or  'The Art of the Drummer' By John Savage. We will focus on technique, learning basic drum notation, learning beats, groves and rudiments. 

This will all be geared towards playing along to music within different genres bespoke to your goals and preferences. It is important to learn how to improvise as a drummer, and play with other musicians. 

Genres that I have experience playing include Rock, Pop, Jazz, Indie, Blues, Country, Folk, Post-rock, R&B, Soul and Reggae.
 

This beginner level class is perfect for first-time musicians (including adults, children and teenagers). Students will learn the basics of technique, drum notation reading, and performance, and how to build upon this into a solid foundation of modern kit drumming.
